The unemployment for veterans overall is on par or lower than the national average despite what you may read or see. There is no shortage of jobs available to veterans, but there is a real problem with UNDEREMPLOYMENT. Veteran Recruiting Services (VRS) aims to change that by helping veterans find the right career, with the right company based on your experience, income requirements, education, military service and more.

We meet with veterans to understand who they are, what experience they have, what it is they are looking to do, and what positions are available with our partners that are a potential match.
We emphasize the importance of the veteran being their own best advocate when seeking employment, but we are with you every step of the way.
We meet with our partners to encourage them to look past a resume, degree, or training if a veteran has military experience that more than qualifies them for the role.
We encourage our partners to develop on the job training programs to help veterans gain the necessary requirements needed to perform the position they are looking to fill.
We initiate job shadow opportunities to enable a veteran to see first hand what the job they are interested in entails.
We host employer open houses to invite veterans to come in to a partner offices to meet with other veterans and hiring managers.
